Bateleur Bush Lodge is situated in Marloth Park, a small holiday town near Komatipoort, bordering the Kruger National Park. The Lodge is close and within walking distance only 600meters from the notorious Kruger National Park’s Crocodile River. We are bordering Kruger Park and in close proximity to Kruger Crocodile Bridge gate (15 Km) and Malelane gate (30 Km). This is a perfect  place to be  for a quiet getaway in the untouched bushveld.

We are conveniently located, 101 km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and 107 km from Nelspruit, and ideal for visiting the Kruger National Park or as a stop-over en route to Mozambique and Swaziland.

This fully furnished private Lodge is specifically designed to experience the bush with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with the main bedroom en-suite.  The double deck brick and wooden structure build in the “Bush” is a typical Africa experience on it’s own. Other facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen, barbecue area, splash pool, and a nice and cosy “Boma Braai” for barbeques outside in the bush. The Lodge is fully electrified with ceiling fans in each room and a air conditioners in the main bed room and Lounge/Living areas and can sleep up to 10 people.

Marloth Park - one of South Africa's best kept secrets

This holiday game town is set on 3000 hectares of virgin bush, located approximately 100 kilometers east of Nelspruit.  The Crocodile River forms a common boundary between Kruger National and Marloth Park

Approximately 1700 head of game roam freely throughout the property including a resident pride of Lions, herds of Elephant, Buffalo and for the lucky Leopard and Cheetah can be spotted on game drives or meandering  alongside the Crocodile River.  In a recent ornithological survey no less than 185 different species of birds were identified.
